Delhi to Mumbai Packers and Movers
Delhi to Mumbai is the busiest long-distance shifting route we handle, and also the one where destination access causes the most surprises. The road is straightforward; the Mumbai building is usually not. We run this route in both directions, so Mumbai to Delhi moves are handled the same way.

What this journey demands
The NH-48 corridor through Rajasthan and Gujarat is well-surfaced and runs almost entirely on expressway or four-lane highway, so goods spend less time on rough sections than on most southern routes. The practical risk on this route is heat and humidity change: goods leave a dry Delhi and arrive in coastal air. Polished wood, leather sofas, mattresses and electronics are wrapped for moisture rather than only for impact, and cartons are stacked so that nothing sits directly against the truck floor.
Delivering in Mumbai
Mumbai delivery needs more planning than the journey. Most societies allow shifting only within fixed hours, commonly 9 AM to 6 PM, and many do not permit movement on Sundays or public holidays. Lifts in older buildings are too small for wardrobes, double-door fridges and large sofas, which then have to go up the staircase. Lane width in areas like Andheri, Borivali, Dadar and Ghatkopar often means a large truck cannot reach the gate and goods are shuttled the last stretch in a smaller tempo. We confirm society timings, lift dimensions and the written NOC requirement before the truck leaves Delhi.
Moving the other way: Mumbai to Delhi
Mumbai to Delhi is just as common, usually families and employees transferring back north. The direction actually makes delivery easier for us, because unloading happens on our own ground in Delhi NCR where we know the societies, the lanes and the lift constraints without having to ask.
We run this corridor in both directions, so the same planning, packing standard and transit window apply whichever way you are going. Tell us the pickup and destination and we quote the leg you actually need.

Delhi to Mumbai questions
The things customers on this route ask before booking.
How many days does Delhi to Mumbai shifting take?
Goods normally reach Mumbai in 3 to 4 days after loading. A dedicated full truck is at the faster end. If your goods share a truck with another consignment, allow 5 to 7 days, because the vehicle collects and delivers at more than one point.
Will my society in Mumbai allow shifting on any day?
Usually not. Most Mumbai societies restrict shifting to weekday working hours and ask for a written NOC or a maintenance clearance before allowing the lift to be used. Please check with your secretary early, because a refused entry on delivery day means paying for waiting time.
What if the truck cannot enter my lane?
This is common in older parts of Mumbai. We plan a smaller tempo for the final stretch and move goods in batches from where the large truck can safely stand. Telling us the lane width at survey time keeps this inside the original quote instead of becoming an extra charge.
