When would I need storage during a move?
The usual reason is a gap between dates: your current house has to be vacated before the new one is ready, or possession is delayed. Renovation and overseas postings are the other common cases. Goods are packed once, stored, and delivered when you are ready.
How is storage priced?
On the volume of goods and the duration. A few items for a fortnight is very different from a full household for six months. Tell us both the inventory and the likely period at survey and we quote for the actual need rather than a standard slab.
Are goods packed while in storage?
Yes. Goods stay in their packing throughout, on raised stacking rather than directly on the floor, with an inventory list so everything is accounted for when it comes out. Nothing is unpacked and repacked in between.
Can I access my goods while they are stored?
With notice, yes, though it is worth planning what you may need before goods go in. Retrieving one carton from the middle of a packed lot takes time. If you know you will need certain items, tell us so they are stored accessibly.
