Should I book a dedicated truck or a shared one?
A dedicated truck carries only your goods and can commit to a delivery date. A shared load costs considerably less, often 30 to 40 percent, but takes longer because the vehicle collects and delivers at several points. If you have a joining date or possession date, take the dedicated option.
How do I know when my goods will arrive?
We give a transit window at booking based on the route, and each route page lists the realistic range. You stay in contact with us through the journey. We would rather quote an honest range than promise a date the road cannot deliver.
Is packing different for long-distance moves?
Yes, and this is where cheap quotes usually cut corners. Goods that spend four days in a container face continuous vibration and a change of climate, so fragile items get multi-layer cushioning and absorbent goods get a moisture barrier. A short local move genuinely does not need this, which is why the two are priced differently.
Can I track my consignment?
You get direct contact with the person coordinating your move rather than a call centre. We update you at dispatch, at the halt and before delivery. For a long route, that means you know where your goods are without chasing anyone.
