The journey follows the Mumbai corridor for most of its length and then turns inland, either through Nashik or over the Mumbai–Pune Expressway ghat section. The ghat descent is the part that matters for packing: sustained braking and gradient mean poorly secured loads shift. Furniture is strapped against the truck body rather than merely stacked, and tall items like wardrobes and bookshelves are laid down for this section. Pune also sees heavy monsoon between June and September, so tarpaulin cover and raised stacking are standard in those months.
Delivering in Pune
Delivery areas cluster around Hinjewadi, Wakad, Baner, Kharadi and Viman Nagar for working professionals, and Kothrud and Camp for established family housing. Newer townships have wide access and working service lifts, so delivery is quick. Older Pune housing in Camp, Deccan and Sadashiv Peth has narrow internal roads and buildings without lifts, where a third or fourth floor carry adds real time to unloading. Does the monsoon affect this move?

My Pune building has no lift. Is there an extra charge?
